Corrections to exercise 23

Thanks to Gary for pointing out that I had dropped a factor of $1/|v|$ in the second line after (1) in my solution, which propagates to an error in the 4th and 5th lines after (1). I will correct and republish. Essentially this is due to my carelessness when typing up the solution.
