Thanks Vasco. I got equivalent answers.
Part (ii) was straightforward, but I made a clerical error in (i) so I thought you couldn't factor with just simple numerators (A and B). I ended up solving the partial fraction with complex numerators (A + Bi, C + Di) which was a lot more work, giving you a system in 4 variables. Luckily, it was still solvable...I ended up with an answer "in 1/5's" but it's equivalent once you multiply your answer by the complex conjugate.
I was suspicious of my answer because it seemed like a lot more work than other exercises!

That's great! I considered making the denominator in part (i) real, but in the end decided it wasn't really necessary. I'll now have a look at exercise 11.
