line 3 should read: "...and a small movement of $z$ will produce a small movement of $\widehat{w}$..."
Adding the word "a" and omitting the word "the" just before $\widehat{w}$.
All references (there are four) to $w$, except the one on the last line, should be changed to $\widehat{w}$.
